Thanks to its Velcro closure, it fits perfectly on very wide feet, thick insteps and ankles, or edematous feet, as it allows for full opening at both the instep and the back. It is also highly recommended for people suffering from rheumatoid arthritis with decreased mobility and stiffness in the ankle joint, as the full opening of the upper allows the foot to fit perfectly into the shoe with minimal movement of the joint. It includes a removable double insole to better adapt the shoe to the foot and can even be exchanged for a custom insole as required. Recommended for the most extreme situations: severely edematous feet, bandages, heart failure, diabetic foot wounds, and for wide feet that also have mobility difficulties when putting on shoes.
